We are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to develop and execute test plans ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware products, specifically in robotics systems. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in hardware testing and a deep understanding of test methodologies, along with hands-on experience with various test equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test plans and procedures for hardware components such as PCB assemblies, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Conduct functional, environmental, and reliability testing to validate hardware performance.
- Design and set up automated test systems and fixtures to optimize testing efficiency.
- Analyze test results, identify defects or performance issues, and collaborate with design teams to implement corrective actions.
- Document test results and create detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and software engineering for seamless integration.
- Stay updated with the latest testing technologies and continuously improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hardware testing, including experience with automated test systems and tools.
- Strong understanding of functional, environmental, and reliability testing methodologies.
- Proficient in using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with robotics systems or embedded hardware testing.
- Familiarity with industry standards (EMI/EMC, safety testing) and compliance testing.
