As a Graphic Design Intern at Orangewood Labs, you will have the opportunity to develop and showcase your creativity by designing engaging visuals across various platforms. You’ll collaborate with our marketing, product, and design teams to create compelling graphics that effectively communicate our brand’s message to a global audience. Your work will directly contribute to building a strong visual identity for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of visual assets for digital and print media, including:
- Social media graphics
- Website banners
- Brochures
- Posters
- And more
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute compelling design campaigns.
- Design infographics, icons, and other visual elements to enhance product descriptions and user guides.
- Help maintain and evolve the company's brand identity through consistent visual storytelling.
- Edit and retouch photos, ensuring they align with our brand’s aesthetic and marketing goals.
- Support the team in preparing graphics for presentations, events, and other internal or external communications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Functional Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools.
- A solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Experience with visual content creation for web, mobile, and print formats.
- Familiarity with basic photo editing and retouching techniques.
- Ability to work within brand guidelines while bringing creativity to each project.
- Good communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing previous design work (academic, personal, or professional).
- Passionate about design, with attention to detail and eager to learn new skills.
