We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Manager or Head of Product Development to lead the design, development, and launch of innovative robotics products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of robotics technologies, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and market demands.
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring it meets customer needs and drives business growth.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product development and market readiness.
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, and translate them into clear product specifications and features.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage the product development process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams in iterative product development, balancing innovation with practicality.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions, providing guidance and making trade-offs as needed.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, refine product offerings, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in product management or product development, preferably in robotics or a related technology field.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing products from concept to market, with experience in both hardware and software product development.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Passion for innovation and a deep understanding of emerging technologies in robotics and automation.
