Orangewood Labs is seeking a motivated individual with a deep understanding of computer vision applications, particularly in machine vision, robotics, and 3D sensor technologies. If you have expertise in working with both 2D and 3D vision data and enjoy solving complex vision tasks, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Handling: Work with 2D (RGB) and 3D (Depth) raw perception data.
- Robot Programming: Program robots to perform tasks in various lighting conditions, with heavy occlusion, and while moving at high speeds.
- Vision Tasks:
- Vision sensor calibration (internal and external).
- Object identification and classification, generating bounding boxes, segmenting objects, and creating object masks.
- Measuring object sizes and estimating/tracking object poses.
- Learning/scanning new objects quickly with surface reconstruction.
- Identifying and reading barcodes.
- Conducting large-scale automatic data collection.
- Performing vision-based mapping, localization, and navigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Background in computer vision, computer graphics, image processing, machine learning, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in the relevant area.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C++/Python.
- Solid knowledge of computer vision with practical experience in applying theories to real-world programs.
- Expertise with vision libraries such as OpenCV, PCL, etc.
- Skilled in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
- Experience with machine learning techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and transfer learning
